Golden Age Hospitality
Tijuana Picnic

Tijuana Picnic

A menu with non-traditional flavor accents transforms casual Mexican fare into fun and sophisticated dishes. Chef Alex Lopez, formerly of Kittichai, helms the kitchen and riffs on the flavors of his native Mexico City with contemporary techniques.

The design of the space evokes Mexico City of the 1970’s, balancing progressive and modernist elements with traditional materials with an eclectic mix of art and objects. Poured concrete floors, tequila bottle lamps, and a plywood bar that glows from yellow resin, all contribute to the bodega sensibility elevated to the understated chic of Tulum at night.
